This isn’t your average hike — it’s a challenge of endurance, mindset, and determination. The goal? Climb Pilot Mountain’s Grindstone Trail as many times as you can within 10 hours. But here’s the best part: you don’t have to hike down! Hop on the shuttle, ride to the base, and go again.
Hike. Ride. Repeat.
REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO THE FIRST 100 ENTRIES.
Give yourself a goal and push your limits.
Hike alongside others who are here to challenge themselves and cheer you on.
This is more than a physical challenge — it’s about proving to yourself what you’re capable of.
Be a part of something truly unique, empowering, and unforgettable. Train for it. Show up. Conquer the mountain — and yourself.
The entry fee includes the Mountain Challenge 2026, finisher medal for the top 10 finishers, aid stations, shuttle down the mountain, long-sleeve t-shirt, and after-party.
A portion of The Mountain Challenge proceeds will support the SPCA of the Triad. For over 30 years, The SPCA of the Triad has served the Greensboro area, rescuing and providing shelter to cats and dogs on-site at their adoption facility.
